Residents and tourists alike make a point to add new vases or stemware to their collection by visiting the 16,000 square foot Libbey Glass Outlet, right in the heart of the city.
If you’re not in the market for glassware, you can still enjoy its beauty at the Glass Pavilion, the most famous glass collection at the world renowned Toledo Museum of Art (TMA). Edward Drummond Libbey initiated the inclusion of a glass collection in order to further educate Toledo’s local glass craftsmen. This free museum, offers a large array of classes, including flameworking and glass blowing and houses over 5,000 pieces of glass art.

The animal in you can come out at Cedar Point, the second oldest operating amusement park in the country. An hour’s drive from Toledo, Cedar Point boasts 17 roller coasters and a world record 72 rides, dubbing it America’s Roller Coast.
If you’re looking to take in more nature, discover Radium Springs. The largest spring in the state and one of Georgia’s seven natural wonders is a sight for sore eyes.
If sports are your thing, then Ohio is the place for you, as there are six professional sports teams here. Toledoans also love their Mud Hens, the local minor league baseball team. The most popular sport to cheer on, however, is college football, making for an exciting fall season each year.

The Metroparks system of Toledo offers 12 parks, over 12,000 acres of protected natural land and 120 miles of trails. Go ahead and run, sled, bike, snowshoe, take up archery or birding. The list goes on and it’s all there for the taking.
