In this “Make Your Move”, we want you to experience what it could be like as the Sioux City, Iowa affiliated practice owner. Iowa was named the Best State in the Nation by U.S. News & World Report, “due to its strong performance in two important categories: opportunity and access to high-quality health care.” However, the best thing that Sioux City offers is the opportunity to own your own AD&I affiliated practice and serve this phenomenal community. With a $25,000 sign on bonus, relocation package, 100% ownership and a brand new practice with your own on-site lab, your opportunity awaits.

Why live in one state when you can live in three?

While most of Sioux City lies within Iowa, there are parts of it that will land you across state lines into Nebraska and South Dakota, where the beautiful Great Plains are aplenty. Situated on the Missouri River, this city in the Hawkeye State offers all the benefits of small town living, is home to a historical U.S. site and delivers exceptional leisure activities.

Enjoy your days by the Missouri River which is home to over 150 fish species and about 300 species of birds.

If it’s leisure you’re looking for, there’s a long list of ways to spend your free time. Take in a game, concert or even a bull-riding event at the 10,000 seat Tyson Events Center. Enjoy a Broadway show or let the Sioux Symphony Orchestra move you at The Sioux City Orpheum. Should you be feeling lucky, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is the perfect adults playground.

Perhaps you’d rather take your free time outdoors. Hit the links at one of the area’s 16 golf courses. Shop and dine to your heart’s (or stomach’s) delight in the city’s Fourth Street Historic District, featuring Romanesque Revival architecture. You can also spend a day at Cone Park. This two-year old all-season park offers a 700 ft. tubing hill, ice skating rink and lodge in the winter months, and converts into a large splash pad, and a much anticipated zipline during the summer.

This area in Iowa, referred to as Siouxland by locals, was once inhabited by the Yankton Sioux Native American Tribe, and was home to Lewis & Clark for a month during their famous Expedition in 1804. It became a U.S. historical site, as the only fatality of the crew on that famous journey, that of Sgt. Charles Floyd, took place. The stimulating exhibits and programs at The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center provide you a day of both learning and leisure.

The state of Iowa may conjure up images of corn fields and cows, but it’s so much more than that. Farm fresh indeed, agribusiness and manufacturing remain leading employers. However the healthcare and education sectors take the top spot. With 76 nursing facilities, twice the national average, a low cost of living and a slew of activities to choose from, Sioux City is rated #8 on the list of Best Cities for Older Americans in Retirement.
